How is Level 2 Ultrasound done?

To do this ultrasound, first the pregnant woman is made to lie down on the examination bed for which a gel is applied on her abdomen, after this with the help of transducer the area around the abdomen is examined.

The sound waves emanating from the transducer shows the images inside the tummy on the monitor, these images are of the child, in which the parts of the child are visible, these images are in 2D format because the computer converts the sound waves into 2D pictures.

As soon as a clear picture of the child is visible during the scan, the computer freezes it, saves it and then the measurement is taken from it.

During the ultrasound, the baby's heart beat is also clearly heard and the arms, legs and different organs are also visible in the child. In level 2 ultrasound, the baby becomes a little bigger and starts making some movements, so in this ultrasound the child is seen with thumb in the mouth or shaking hands, if you want, you can also take a picture of the child by asking the doctor.
